Warrior Gets Accepted Into Harvard!

Hebrew Academy Miami Senior, Gabriel Apojreceived notification that he had been accepted as an Early Action admit to Harvard College, Class of 2021.

According to William Fitzsimmons, Dean of Admissions of Harvard College, “We admit students whose academic, extracurricular, and personal strengths are extraordinary.”

This fine young man has excelled in all secular and Judaic classes, and furthered his education with advanced courses on college campuses or through Florida Virtual School. Gabe has received many honors and awards, including our prestigious “Harvard Book Award." Gabe’s extracurricular activities include varsity basketball, AIPAC, Model UN, and he has advocated for an Engineering Club, which is flourishing. In addition, Gabe has founded Futuro Internacional as an avenue to raise money for underprivileged women in Ecuador through agave sales.

We thank all of Gabe’s teachers at Hebrew Academy who have enriched Gabe’s education and love of learning. “It takes a Village” – and we at Hebrew Academy can all take pride in fostering Gabe’s passion for learning, and wish him a bright future.
