The first Hebrew Academy Warrior was our founder, Rabbi Alexander Sender Gross z"l. In 1947, Rabbi Gross had a vision of creating the first modern Orthodox, dati Zioni, Jewish Day School south of Baltimore.  Rabbi Gross developed Hebrew Academy from just a few tiny classrooms into the pillar of the community the school has now become.
