Welcome from the PTSA!

Dear Fellow Hebrew Academy Parents,

The Parent-Teacher-Student Association encourages and facilitates parental and student involvement in the Hebrew Academy community. The PTSA supports many programs that enhance our school spirit.

In the coming year, the Hebrew Academy PTSA will be organizing many events and activities for our school, for our children.  Below is a list of our programs.  Please review and sign up for the ones that you would like to participate in.

PTSA Programs

Box Tops - 

Help the PTSA make money for our school by coming up with interesting ways to collect box tops.

Rosh Hashana Honey Bear Program -

Work on a program that allows each family to send a New Year’s greeting to other HA families, administration and staff for the Rosh Hashana holiday.

Parent Social Events -

Love planning social events?  Join this team and help the PTSA organize fun and enjoyable events for our parents.

Chanukah Gelt Fundraiser -

Join this great group of parents who help fundraise so that the PTSA can make Chanukah a little bit more special for our teachers, school staff and administrators who work tirelessly for our children.

Chanukah Celebration with Krispy Kreme -

What better way to celebrate Chanukah than with Krispy Kreme?  Participate in this event and help spread the fun of Chanukah with our favorite donut.

High School Mid-Term Treat - 

Help us plan a luncheon for the high school students so that we can wish them well for their midterms and help them decompress just a little bit during a stressful time.  

Purim Mishloach Manot Program - 

Join this creative team who puts together imaginative baskets for our teachers, the school staff and administration.

Purim Carnival -

Help organize a fun day for all of our kids.

Sukkot Spectacular Program - 

Be a part of a team who puts together an amazing Sukkot event filled with interesting and engaging activities for the whole school and their families.

Pesach Chocolate Sale - 

Help the PTSA raise money by organizing a chocolate sale in time for the Pesach holiday.

Teacher Appreciation Week - 

Get involved with this team of parents who organize a fun week of events for our teachers, to help show our gratitude for all of their hard work during the school year.

School Supplies (mail order) - 

Work with our school supply vendor and our teachers to create an online mail order option for our parents who want a quick, easy, one-stop-shop for the next year’s school supplies.  

Class Parent Program -  

Act as the class representative for your child’s class for the PTSA.

Class Picture - 

Help the PTSA coordinate our annual individual and class pictures.    

Book Club -

Read the latest book and discuss it with fellow HA parents.

Tzedakah Boxes - 

Develop compelling ways to help the PTSA collect funds from all of our tzedakah boxes in the community.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Celebrations -

Join a few select parents who help organize a kids-only celebration to take place in school.  6th grade girls and 7th grade boys will each have a day where they come together to commemorate this big milestone in their lives.
