Early Childhood Students Use Apples for a Rosh Hashanah Inspired STEAM Project

Our STEAM specialist, Racheli Handler, had our Early Childhood students doing a super cool Apple project just in time for Rosh Hashanah. First, our Little Warriors had so much fun using the materials provided to build apple trees. They needed to figure out how to lay the sticks in the best way to hold the most ‘apples’. Some of our students were able to balance between 3-10 apples! They also got a chance to do some apple browning, create an apple volcano using baking soda and vinegar, and used their engineering skills to build an incline plane and a pulley to help get an apple up to the plane. They found out that it took 70 coins to pull the apple all the way up!
