Yom Tzahal: Honoring our Lone Soldiers

Yom Tzahal: Honoring our Lone Soldiers

Today, Hebrew Academy students honored Lone Soldiers during Yom Tzahal!  Students and faculty were honored with a visit from Mosher Parnes, an HA alum and lone solder. Our B'not Sherut transformed our campus and decorated our hallways for this special day where we take a moment to recognize the importance of the Israel Defense Forces and Am Israel. We have been celebrating Yom Tzahal since 2018. During the month of Cheshvan, our school honors the IDF by learning about the amazing contributions they make not only to Israel but to the whole world. We thank the students who invented this holiday when they were in fifth grade. They are Eliana Wolfson, Lily Reinberg, Abigail Hoffman, Julia Assaraf, Aviva Ettelson and Simona Folk.
