School Holds Fourth Annual Shakespeare Competition

This Wednesday Hebrew Academy held its fourth  annual Shakespeare Competition in the high school. Students acted out Shakespearean monologues in front of an audience and were judged by a panel of English and Drama teachers. Tziyona Gheblikian (11th grade) won first place for her rendition of Juliet in the Romeo and Juliet balcony scene. Bailey Spitz (10th grade) took the runner-up spot for her portrayal of Portia from Julius Caesar. Both students won a cash prize and certificate.
