Kindness Corner: Elementary Kindness Challenge

Throughout the week, the Hebrew Academy Elementary School performed a kindness challenge.  Mrs. Hamburg gave us a mission which was to spread kindness to everyone around us. The fifth-grade girls were chosen to be the “secret kindness agents” of the elementary school. Our job was to say good morning to all staff members that we saw in the morning. We asked a few students if they thought anyone caught on. “Nobody knew it was us,” said Sarah Rothman, 5th grade.  “The fifth-grade boys knew it was us,” responded an anonymous source. At the end of the week, during the Shabbat assembly, the secret kindness act was announced. We think this is a great way to spread kindness.
