Health News From Nurse Lynn: Just A Reminder

Nurse Lynn Friedman

Dear Parents,

While we want to see each child here every day, happy and healthy, we also need to keep our school a safe and healthy environment. We are asking each and every parent to please adhere to our health policies in our handbooks to ensure we keep everyone as healthy as possible.

If your child is not feeling well, or if he/she has a temperature, please keep your child home.  If your child has the flu, strep, conjunctivitis, a stomach virus or any other communicable illness, please let us know.  This is not only for your own child’s well being, but for the well being of their classmates and Morot as well. In addition, please follow our policy and remember that your child must be fever-free for 24 hours prior to returning to school (without medication).  If on an antibiotic for a strep infection, they must be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours before returning.

We would love to see 100% attendance each and every day.  Nevertheless, we need the help of all parents to keep our school a safe and healthy environment.

Thank you,

Lynn Friedman, RN
School Nurse
