Yom Ha’Atzmaut at Hebrew Academy was everything it should be: warm, spirited, and filled with genuine love for Medinat Yisrael. Early Childhood students “traveled” across Israel through hands-on activities, from Tel Aviv to the Kotel. In Elementary, a musical Hallel set the tone before students rotated through lively Israel-themed stations. Upper School students began the day with meaningful davening, followed by an interactive campus-wide scavenger hunt and an Israeli lunch to close. At its core, the day reflected something simple but powerful: helping our students feel a personal, lasting connection to Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael. Chag Atzmaut Sameach!
