Established in 1947, Hebrew Academy is Miami’s first Modern Orthodox Jewish day school and the oldest Modern Orthodox Jewish day school south of Baltimore. For nearly 80 years, we have inspired generations of students through Torah, academic excellence, and an enduring love for Israel. Today, we are proud to welcome first-, second-, third-, and even fourth-generation families, creating a close-knit community rooted in tradition, warmth, and lifelong relationships.
Hebrew Academy welcomes families from across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, including Miami Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Hollywood, and surrounding communities. Convenient transportation is available from many neighborhoods, making a Hebrew Academy education accessible to families throughout South Florida.
Our rigorous curriculum seamlessly integrates Limudei Kodesh, Ivrit, Zionism, and college-preparatory academics, providing students with an education that is both academically challenging and deeply rooted in Jewish values. We are committed to educating the whole child through outstanding programs in music, drama, visual arts, athletics, technology, and leadership, while differentiated instruction, blended learning, and project-based experiences ensure every student is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
