This week, our student delegates traveled to Tallahassee with Teach Florida to advocate for Jewish education across South Florida. Joining them were Mrs. Lisa Stroll, Head of School; Mrs. Rachel Weinberger, Executive Director; and Rabbi Jack Cohen, Director of Torah Studies for the High School. Together, they met directly with lawmakers to strengthen support for our schools and community. Our students met with the Chief Budget Officer and her team to discuss critical security funding for Jewish day schools. They were invited into a conference room for an in-depth conversation about the bill and its impact, engaging directly with decision-makers who play a key role in shaping the outcome. We are incredibly proud of our students for representing our school with confidence and professionalism, and advocating for the safety, security, and continued strength of Jewish education.
