Our eighth graders officially launched their Names, Not Numbers® elective, a powerful journey in Holocaust remembrance and storytelling. Students had the privilege of learning from Holocaust survivor Allan J. Hall, who was born in Kraków and survived ghettos and years in hiding with his family before rebuilding his life in the United States. Mr. Hall guided students on how to thoughtfully interview a survivor, listen with empathy, and preserve each testimony with care. Through this meaningful program, our students will help ensure that survivors are remembered not as numbers, but as individuals, with names, lives, and stories that must never be forgotten.
