Olympian Inspiration Hits the Slopes of Our Second Grade Classroom

This week in Second Grade, the class welcomed Avital Carroll, a freestyle mogul skier who competed in the 2026 Winter Olympics for Austria, earning two top-10 finishes. She captivated students with stories of her intense training and thrilling tricks, including backflips, while proudly sharing her Jewish heritage.

More than anything, Avital inspired students to pursue their dreams with hard work, passion, and the support of their community. As Samara’s aunt, her visit was especially meaningful for our class.
