Today, our Kindergarten students and Middle School Student Council joined our neighbors at the Miami Beach Fire Department for a 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony, invited by the Jewish National Fund. Students sang Hatikva, and Rabbi Ari Karp shared his personal 9/11 experience, offered tefillot for first responders, and blew the shofar in their honor. Together with Mayor Steven Meiner, JNF-USA, and the City of Miami Beach, we remembered the lives lost and honored the courage of our local heroes who protect us every day.
