This Sunday, with more than 120 alumni together, it truly felt like Hebrew Academy: warm, familiar, and deeply connected across generations. Our co-chairs and board members, Mrs. Miriam Hoffman ‘98 and Dr. Ari Ciment ‘92, opened the evening by reminding us that this bridge is strengthened when alumni stay actively engaged and connected. Mrs. Ora Lee Kanner spoke about Hakarat HaTov (gratitude), reminding us that Hebrew Academy’s impact continues long after graduation, encouraging us to stay connected and give back. Mrs. Lisa Stroll, Head of School, shared exciting school highlights, including record enrollment, academic recognition, expanded STEM, and the groundbreaking of our new Sports Complex. We closed with event chairs Mrs. Vivi ’12 and Dr. Josh Bitran ’09, who shared that although they graduated years apart, they reconnected later and their shared Hebrew Academy education created an unspoken bond that helped shape their relationship and the family they’re building today.
