We are so proud to celebrate three Hebrew Academy seniors recognized in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program! More than 1.2 million students nationwide entered this year’s competition, with Semifinalists representing less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors. Mazal Tov to Yonatan Simcha Rosenberg and Joseph Kopel on being named National Merit Semifinalists, joining approximately 16,000 academically talented high school seniors nationwide to earn this prestigious distinction. They now have the opportunity to advance to Finalist standing and continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships. We are also so proud to celebrate Tamar Van Dam, who was named a National Merit Commended Student, an honor recognizing exceptional academic achievement and promise. This remarkable recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence of all three students.
