Our 11th graders got home from Israel this morning after an unforgettable second week! They davened at the Kotel as the sun rose, visited yeshivot and a seminary, and welcomed Shabbat with their own minyan and a lively kumzitz. In the north, they trained like soldiers, climbed Har Arbel, explored Kfar Kedem, and released a pigeon at Rabbi Akiva’s kever before dancing on a party boat on the Kinneret. In the Golan they stood on Tel Saki and Har Bental, jeeped through the hills, visited an army base, and watched a sofer at work. On their last full day, they looked out over Lebanon from Mitzpe Benaya, went rafting, and when plans changed, watched the sunset from tubes on the Kinneret, a real כל עכבה לטובה moment.
