Parashat Ki Tisa in Action: Learning About the Ketoret

This week, in honor of Parashat Ki Tisa, Grade 5 students enjoyed a special hands-on lesson about the unique korban of the Ketoret HaSamim with Rav Ido. They learned about the special qualities of the ketoret and how, as Jews, we try to connect to Hashem in every way we can, even through our sense of smell.

Students explored different specimens similar to the spices used in the ketoret and learned about their properties and significance. They then gathered their own specimens and created a display to add to their mini museum collections.
