Election Day in our Lower School was full of excitement as students learned about voting and leadership. Kindergarteners were visited by last year’s Kindergarten Presidents: Ayden Almagor, Mia Ehrman, Ariel Kleiner, and Lielle Sazer, who explained how elections work and what it means to be a good leader. In first grade, students held their own “cookie election,” where the Black & White Cookie won in both classes. Second graders registered to vote, cast ballots, and tallied votes to choose their favorite brain break. It was a fun and meaningful way for all our students to experience the power of voting.
