Middle School Girls Volleyball beats David Posnack School! The Warriors executed at high level all match long, beating the Rams 25-10 in both sets. The Warriors continued their winning streak and added their second win of the season. Middle School Boys Flag beats David Posnack 13-6, improving their season record to 3-0! 7th grader Bernard Wachtel opened the scoring for the Warriors with a defensive score, intercepting the Posnack quarterback and returning it 50 yards for a touchdown! Warriors quarterback Henry Shwirtz (8th Grade) connected with wide receiver David Turetsky (7th Grade) for a 15 yard touchdown, giving the Warriors the 13-0 lead. The Warriors defense was tough all game. A late Rams touchdown wasn’t enough, as the Warriors travelled back to Miami Beach with the win! At the Hebrew Academy Cross Country Invitational hosted at Haulover Park, Senior Eli Wolfson finished 5th place overall in the Girls race at 24:52, while Junior Esther Parnas finished in 12th place. The Hebrew Academy Girls finished in 4th place as a team. Our Boys were led by co-captain Senior Joel Behar, who finished in 19th place overall at 21:40!
