Our fifth grade students recently welcomed two special guests who brought real-world experience straight into the classroom. Bal Harbour Vice Mayor Seth Salver—a Hebrew Academy alum and current parent—shared insights into how local government operates, sparking thoughtful questions and active engagement.

Students also enjoyed a visit from class parent Gabe Plotkin, co-owner of the Charlotte Hornets, who spoke about the business side of the NBA. From civic leadership to sports entrepreneurship, our students were inspired to connect their passions with future possibilities.
