6th Graders Build Edible DNA Models to Explore Molecular Structure

6th grade Students participated in a lab where they were able to practice their understanding of the different molecules that build the DNA double helix. They used candy to model the double-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid and practice matching nitrogenous bases.
