Each year, the Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) recognizes outstanding students from its member schools, at their Annual ISSF Star Award Luncheon.
Criteria for selection are that an ISSF STAR STUDENT should be an exemplary student. He/she should be a student who sets an example for others to follow, whether in the home, school or community. The student should have excelled in one or more of these areas: Academics, community service, citizenship, fine art, athletics, student activities, perseverance, effort, dedication, commitment to positive goals, improvement in performance, and attitude.
This year’s Star Award Luncheon took place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the Doubletree Hilton Miami Airport Convention Hotel.
Mrs. Debra Hamburg - Elementary School Principal, and Mrs. Andrea Lucero - Middle School Principal, and Dr. Dara Lieber- High School Principal, represented our school Administration at the 2018 Annual Star Award Luncheon. They also presented the Star Award medals to our school’s Star Award recipients.
