For the past week it has been quite colorful in Kindergarten! In conjunction with Parshat Noach, we did a unit on colors and color mixing. We dressed in a different color each day and we learned how to say each color in Hebrew. We learned the color order of the rainbow in Hebrew and what goes into making a rainbow. We learned the primary colors- red, yellow, and blue, and learned how to create the secondary colors- orange, green, and purple. We did many color mixing activities and experiments. Our favorite experiment was the rainbow volcano. We also loved making rainbow patterns with Fruit Loops. We copied our patterns and then ate them all up. Our color unit has been amazing with hands-on fun and learning!
