High School Students Get Cultured at Art Basel

Last week, over 20 Hebrew Academy students and faculty spent the afternoon at the public opening of Art Basel Miami Beach at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The students were able to take advantage of one of the world's largest and most important art events of the year that just so happens to take place in our backyard. We were able to see hundreds of works from Modern and Contemporary art from galleries all across the world under one roof. From works by Pablo Picasso to Barbara Kruger and even a performance piece by Israel Martinez, students were exposed to some of the most fascinating art from the recent past and currently being made. We cannot wait to create a tradition of this trip with our return to Art Basel 2018.
