We have all been shocked and saddened by the scenes of devastation and suffering in the Houston area caused by Hurricane Harvey. We all need and want to do our part to help the people there recover from the catastrophic flooding they are experiencing. Hebrew Academy (RASG), along with other schools and synagogues, will be collecting specific items to send by truck to Houston. Here is what you need to know about the collection process:
Dates to Bring in Items: Friday, September 1 - Thursday, September 7
Location of Collection Bins: Main Gate on the West Side of the Schwartz-Jacobs Campus; Outside of Norma's office, Diana's office and Donna's office
Items to Bring: Please bring (or send in with your children) items from the list below. Please do not send in money, gift cards or food as we are not set up to handle these things.
Diapers and Wipes (closed containers only)
Clothing (in good condition)
Please discuss with your children how important it is for us to help people in need and let them know that we are all participating in the very important Mitzvah of Chesed (Kindness) by having this collection drive.
