Hebrew Academy hosted the Safety Kid program for the ECE, Elementary, and Middle School divisions this week. Safety Kid, which was developed by Yehi Ohr, the Orthodox division of Jewish Community Services, is a sexual abuse preventative program that teaches children about body safety, how to recognize unsafe situations, and how to properly ask for help. Safety Kid focuses on the ABCD’s of Safety teaching students to A-Ask for Help B- Bring a Friend C- Check First and D- Do Tell. Ask your children what they learned this week.
In addition to the student programming, we hosted an important and informative parent event. Thank you to those that joined us to learn about protecting our children.
