Middle School Science Students Use Jewish Values and Relate it to the Hurricane Dorian Disaster

Our Middle School Science students used Jewish values to help Hurricane Dorian victims. Science teachers Tori Kaslow and Javier Gonzalez prompted each student to choose one of the following  to share how you can showcase a Jewish value in wake of the Hurricane destroying the Bahamas:

1. Tzedakah: To give charity
2. Tikkun Olam: To repair the world

Then, they recorded a 30 second video describing which Jewish value they chose and through what actions you could demonstrate this for the people of the Bahamas.  For example, "I choose (Jewish value) and I would demonstrate it by doing the following _____."
