Middle & High School Students Enjoy a Torah 1-on-1

Hebrew Academy 8th graders had a unique opportunity to get to know and learn Torah with a group of our high school's upperclassmen in a dynamic, interactive class taught by Rabbi Yosi Manne (Rebbi & Director of Israel Guidance) and Rabbi Jack Cohen (Director of Jewish Education and Community Engagement). They studied one of the classic questions in the Talmud regarding the tragic situation of having to choose one person's life over another, and got into some lively ethical debates along the way. It was a great way for our students to meet one another across grades, and meet some of their teachers and administrators from next year.
