Kindergarteners Participate in Ray of Light Program for Children with Disabilities

Last Friday, we hosted the Keren Or organization for the "Ray of Light" program in Kindergarten. This organization supports the Keren Orr school in Jerusalem, which is a school for children that are blind or developmentally disabled. Students created works of art with sensory materials so that they can experience what children who are blind might be feeling. We brought in this program as part of Jewish Disability Awareness Month, and our school wide Kindness campaign.

Through the Ray of Light projects in schools, Keren Or hope to foster the idea of tzedekah and kindness and build awareness of children less fortunate.
