High School Students Hear From South Florida Teen Vaping Survivor

On Wednesday, High School students had the unique opportunity to hear from 18-year-old vaping survivor Chance Ammirata. He grew up in South Florida, and back in July he almost lost his life because of Juuling. He ended up having emergency surgery after what he thought was a strained muscle ended up being devastating lung damage. Now, his mission is to prevent others from the same fate. He created the Love Lung Foundation and raises money for more research and educates today's youth on the dangers of vaping. NBC Digital was on-site filming a story which will air at a later date.
