Five Juniors Participate in NFTE Business Plan Competition

On Wednesday, Hebrew Academy's Business Team made up of five bright Juniors competed in the 7th Annual South Florida High School Business Plan Competition at Miami Dade College. Students Ariel Arwas, Avigail Kahn, Eliot De Paz, Michelle Behar, and Jaclyn Nussenblatt, with the help of Coach Berman developed a shopping app called Shop Verse. The goal of the company was to provide a service where clothing could be at your doorstep within two hours. Each student was given a different focus over the semester which included app development, financials, marketing, presentation quality, and design set up. Over the course of time the plan came together, and our kids did a fantastic job.
