Mrs. Dominitz, the first grade classroom mom, and pastry chef, came in to teach the students how to make sufganiot. The children, mixed, rolled, shaped and cut out their sufganiot. While they waited patiently for the sufganiot to be fried, the first grade played a great game of Chanukah Bingo. The students decorated and filled the doughnuts with chocolate or jelling filling. What a fun and delicious way to start off Chanukah! Thank you to Mrs. Dominitz for running this activity and to Mrs. Budwick for volunteering her time to help the class.
