This past Tuesday our High School Junior class presented beautiful and inspirational family histories at our first ever Multicultural Night. With a science fair set up, families were able to walk from table to table listening to inspiring stories of how the student's family arrived in America. Both audio and visual media were highlighted through project storyboards, scrapbooks, and audio podcasts documenting family histories. In all, thirty countries were represented at the fair highlighting what makes the Hebrew Academy so unique. The pride with which students interacted with guests and one another--while showcasing their unique family histories-- reflected the hard work and preparation that went on in the classrooms. By the time it wrapped up, the Hebrew Academy's first-ever Multicultural Night proved to be immensely successful.
